Competition: Theme: "I'm ready for my closeup"
Intent: Feauture images that contain close up detailed subjects.
Images could feature examples of below but are not limited to,,,,
-Traditional macro subjects, flowers, plants, insects etc
-Close ups of people or animals, portraits, head shots, hands, feet etc
-Structural detail of mechanical or architectural items
Rules and judging criteria: Submit up to three entries. Color or B&W is
acceptable. Post processing should be limited to normal Lightroom,
Photoshop etc. techniques with no major manipulation or AI. Subject should
be clearly identifiable and not venture into the abstract. Judging will
be based on the images visual impact as well as overall photographic quality

Submission format: Entries shall be submitted to the smugmug link below
and titled as followed,
1st entry: FirstnameLastname1.jpg
2nd entry: FirstnameLastname2.jpg
3rd entry: FirstnameLastname3.jpg
Deadline for entry: Entries must be submitted by 12 noon, Sunday, October 12th
About the Club
We are a group of enthusiastic photographers of all ages and levels of experience
Club meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of every month on the Oak Ridge Campus of Roane State Community College
Bi-Monthly Photo Competitions
Club members may upload up to three photos for the chosen theme. Entries will be judged and discussed during the club meeting. The top photos will be selected for mention in our SmugMug gallery.

Facebook Cover Photo Competitions
Members of our Facebook community are encouraged to enter the monthly cover photo competition by uploading one photo with the chosen theme's #hashtag.
The theme is chosen by the previous month's winner.
Annual Salon Held Each Fall
Photographers may submit multiple printed photos into the annually-selected categories.
Our Salon is open to all.
